    2/24.12/03 - Chinese station KMRB 1430 AM is 'non-brokered'. But, their statement, "Sinocast is a non-brokered Chinese radio station in Los Angeles, which means we own our broadcast and tower facilities" isn't quite technically correct. P.S. - In the LAT paper, this about-eight-page section was labeled as an Advertising Supplement, and at least one library chucked it, along with a 'Romantic Dining Ideas' story.

    2/1/03 - Space shuttle - the usual AM stations and the NPR FM stations have inturrupted their programs this morning to provide coverage of space-shuttle news. An official announcement didn't air till about 10-11a. The con trail from the shuttle was reportedly visible in the L.A. sky, to the south east. There were several trails this morning, so I probable saw it, along with others.
